Back to School!

Yesterday, was the girls' first day of school. I took Kate and Brynna to their classes that morning. Kate's in the 3rd grade and has Mrs. Rawlins for her teacher; (Mrs. Rawlins was Brynna's kindergarten teacher her first year and we loved her -- I know she'll be a great teacher for Kate). Brynna's in 2nd grade, and her teacher is Mrs. Hughes. Brynna is in the same class as her cousin, Marin, this year, and they sit right across from each other.

Kira has afternoon kindergarten and has Mrs. Slade as a teacher. She had a hard time waiting to go to school. She put her school clothes on first thing after breakfast, even though I told her she wouldn't be going till after lunch, and she kept fussing about waiting till the afternoon. Finally, it was time to go. She's in the same class with her friend and neighbor, Elisa.

The girls came home excited and happy about their first day of school. So glad!!

**As for other news: our house is finished and waiting for us. Unfortunately, we're having holdups with the loan part of it all, and it's taking longer than we expected. We still don't have a closing date yet. And the Lyman's are coming home this month on the 30th! Yikes! So we will be moving out on the 25th to a temporary location, most likely my mother-in-law's house, till we can move into our new house. It's very frustrating, but what can you do. Meanwhile, we started attending our new ward last week, and it seems like a nice ward. Kids did well. Guess that's it for now!
