Cousins

My sister, Lori and her four kids, came down for a quick visit from Utah. She came Friday night and stayed till Tuesday morning. It was so nice for them to come -- we hadn't seen them since Christmas. Her 4 kids are aged 10, 9, 7, and 4 and with mine combined, we had quite a houseful. With so many kids, and often some neighbor kids thrown in also, there was always someone to play with, and different combinations playing together.

We took several trips to local parks with the kids, and they watched lots of movies, and ate lots of Otter Pops. Lori made her Asian Orange Chicken for us one night -- it was so good!

I had Lo give us all haircuts while she was here. Here's a story: Jim wanted Kate and Brynna to have short hair, but they wanted to keep their long hair, so he said he'd pay them $10 each if they cut it short. You could practically see the dollar signs in their eyes -- $10 is more than they've ever had, so they quickly agreed. And they seem happy with their decision...
