Look! I'm actually blogging!

Sort of, anyway.  I thought that since the kids have gone back to school that I might actually do a little blogging.  It's been what?  A year?  Yeah, pathetic.

Well, we did some fun things over the summer: camping with the cousins/family.  A couple of trips down to the valley.  And we had family and friends come visit us here, too.  Here's a few highlights of our summer:

 My sister and her 2 kids -- I think we stayed at her house at least twice this summer and she stayed with us about twice, too!  

 Lissy got a bike for her birthday!  Jim didn't have time to put on training wheels that morning, so Brynna and Kira pushed her around the yard and kept her happy all morning, "riding" her bike.  Awww, I thought they were so sweet to do that.

 The only snake we saw this summer -- a little cute one.

 The Griffiths came and spent a day with us -- they are old friends of ours from our single days and also from when we were first married and lived in the same area.  It was fun to re-introduce our kids to each other and play games and hang out for a day.  They are a fun family.

My sister, Sandy and her family came to visit us, too, for a few hours on their way back from a long vacation.  This is the girls with their cousin, Bryce, who was a fun companion to hang out with.  

Summer's over!  Back to school!
